Kristoff Cigar rolling Event last Night

I had a wonderful time yesterday at Belicoso. I took the Urban Streets TV host, Yasmine. There was practically a photo shoot going on at Belicoso because the men went nuts over Yasmine. That's another story.
I had a nice Maduro by Kristoff. Glen, the owner says this is probably the closest we will get to a Cuban. I believe it has cuban seeds. I have had some great cigars that were pretty awesome and that was remotely similar to a Cuban. I have to admit Kristoff has a pretty good cigar. Matter of fact, The Vice President of Urban Streets TV, Anthony, my partner, it's his personal favorite.
I ran into Alex who also runs http://www.cigarpass.com/. He invited me over to their site. It was a nice outting for me. I was able to smoke my cigar, sip on a nice hot cup of espresso and eat. It was great. The next time they have an event, I will post it. It's really a treat. Also Belicoso has the largest humidor I have seen in the Chicago area. I have been to many cigar stores. The place is a palace. It's Havana away from Havana. If you ever have a chance to come out, I believe it is truly worth it!

Cuban vs. Dominican

by Breana Blaque

You don't know how many times I have been out selling cigars and someone states, "If you don't have a Cuban, I don't want it! Do you have a Cuban"? I do understand Cuban seeds are the original but there are great premium cigars out there for any cigar smoker that is not Cuban। Some Dominican cigar manufacturers actually sell their tobacco to Cuban manufacturers believe it or not। There is no doubt that the Cuban cigars I have had were very pleasing to my palette. Many former Cuban cigar manufacturers relocated to other countries including the Dominican Republic. Some took the seeds with them. The Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua continue to manufacture cigars to this day. "Cigar tobacco is grown in significant quantities in Brazil, Cameroon, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Indonesia, Mexico, Nicaragua, the Philippines, and the United States, Havana cigars from Cuba being particularly famous." The fact of the matter is Cuban cigars are considered the forbidden fruit to illegal trade and importing with Cuba. Nearly all modern cigar makers are members of long-established cigar families, or professed to be. The art and skill of hand-making premium cigars has been passed from generation to generation. The best-known cigar family in the world is the Arturo Fuente family who manufacturers in The Dominican Republic. Cigars manufactured in Cuba are widely considered to be the best, although many experts believe that the best offerings from Honduras and Nicaragua rival those from Cuba. The Cuban reputation comes from various districts in Cuba where a higher quality of tobacco can be grown. Also Cuban cigar rollers are said to be the most skilled in the world.

Maduro Woman Cigar Event

by Breana Blaque

I had a pretty decent time. The turnout was pretty decent. The room was cloudy with cigar smoke. I believe that the smoke was the most spectacular thing of all. The loft was filled with people who was either new to cigars or had little experience with premium cigars. There were some cigar enthusiasts like myself who could actually appreciate Don Bubba's Cigars. I mean these cigars were a hit. I absolutely fell in love with his delicious cigars. Although he is keeping the recipe on lock and key, some folks think they are Cuban. He will tell you that "These cigars are not Cuban. I do not endorse the activity of having Cubans. That shi--illegal!" Whatever is in the mix, it's a hit. I am not kidding. There was complimentary cognac, complimentary cigars, complimentary red and white wines and all for the entry of $10. You can't beat that! I was interviewed for Urban Streets TV by their beautiful host Monique. I think someone has a crush on her. I am not saying names!
Anyway, the loft had a nice pool table, an area for chess and in the seating area, a nice flat screen showing a calm island and palm trees blowing in the wind. The next time, I think I will go with some videos or maybe a game. I think that will be more entertaining! I have another event in the works but there will be some modifications and upgrades. I would love to see more cigar enthusiasts out.
