Condo owners lose right to smoke in own home

A recent article with the above caption infuriated me. First, we are no longer able to smoke in public. Now we are forced to not smoke in our own homes, property that we have purchased. Our rights are being taking a way bit by bit. This is a legal act, folks! When you are out in public, we come across odors that are simply unpleasant. Sometimes, I may get a bit nauseated. Am I to tell a stranger not to wear their perfume in public or address other offensive odors.

To top it off, you can not have a bar or place that is habitual for smokers or bars that is for smokers. This would enable smokers to have a place and non smokers to decide to visit or not to visit. But at this point, we can only smoke in a place that has primarily tobacco sales. It's absolutely nuts!

So going back to my initial comment, smokers are being banned from smoking in their homes. Recently a condo association ruled to ban smoking inside the condos because residents were complaining about the smoke. What's next?

Fighting Back, the Public Smoking Ban

The Smokers club offer unique ways, almost semi-militant approaches to fight smoking bans. One suggestion was to smoke in a bar anyway since one really can't get arrested, but if caught, he/she would be fined.
